Love: Madonna doesn't sing from heart

Courtney Love has claimed that Madonna doesn't sing from her heart and that she is too business-minded.

Writing on her MySpace blog, Love admitted that the singer had tunes you could "hum" along with, but argued that her hard work and ambition didn't equate to "great art".

She wrote: "Ambition and sass and shrewd does not equal great art - hard work and major discipline doesn’t equal great art and all of those are great things."

She added that Madonna's singing was too "calculating" to be enjoyed.

Talking about her own music, she said: "I convert them, I have great discipline and I do work like a bionic thing."
