Golden Globes 2007

The stars came out twinkling, last night in Hollywood for the 64th annual Golden Globes award show… And what a showing it was! From the gorgeous red carpet entrances and beautiful gowns to the hilarious acceptance speeches it was a test to movie making magic!

Highlights from the show included:

Jennifer Hudson’s (Best Supporting Actress- Muscial of Comedy) BIG win was phenomenal to match an equally phenomenal performance and even better stylist that has her looking every bit the star.

Meryl Streep took home the Best Actress nod for her amazing performance in my favorite of the year, The Devil Wears Prada, wearing Carolina Herrera.

Beyonce dressed like the Oscar that she will more than likely NOT win.

Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon used this as their “you’ll be so sorry you ever broke up with me” moment, Ryan is eating his heart out, Justin… is not.

Ellen Pompeo looked ravishing in a white Versace draped gown… Grey’s Anatomy won for best Television series

And the biggest highlight of them all… Dreamgirls won Best Motion Picture- Musical or Comedy!!!

Some great candids:

Katie Holmes and Katherine McPhee, both brunettes looking stunning here, working two variations of the curly look, Katie with a tighter, 40s look and Katherine in loose waves, after the awards show.

La Lohan out and about in a great white minidress with embroidered collar.

The beautiful Latinas, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria both looked exquisite in flawless makeup and I’m a loving the lashes on both. Fur enthusiast, Jen rocks this mink and Eva is killer in her Emanuel Ungaro dress.

It was raining men at the Globes… and here are three dapper gentlemen… Forest Whitaker, Golden Globe winner for Blood Diamonds, Justin Timberlake, presenter, and Diddy, who allegedly got turned away from the after party…

Overall the Golden Globes were a great kick-off to this year’s award show season, they weren’t overly dramatic and set the tone for some of the potential Oscar winners. I’m looking forward to seeing more gowns, beautiful jewelry and more stars!
