Chris Rock plays first ever UK dates

Chris Rock has announced his first ever stand-up tour of the UK.

The US comedian and actor will play four dates across the country in January next year.

Although he has never performed one of his own shows in Britain, Rock did turn up unannounced at London's Comedy Store earlier this year to road test material.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on November 2.

Rock kicks off the tour at Manchester's Apollo on January 8, plays two dates at London's Hammersmith Apollo, and ends at the Birmingham Academy on January 12.
