Rihanna: 'I've fallen for Josh Hartnett'

Rihanna has confirmed rumours that she is dating Josh Hartnett and admitted that she has "fallen" for him, despite it being early days in their relationship.

The singer and Hartnett sparked reports they had started dating after they were spotted partying together at a New York nightclub last month.

Now Rihanna has publicly spoken about her relationship with the actor, telling the Mirror: "I've fallen for him big time. I would be lying if I told you we were not more than just friends.

"He is so hot and he is so sweet to me. When we hang out it feels right - even though it's still pretty new."

Rihanna has stuck up for ever distressed singer Britney Spears, insisting the 'Crazy' poptress should not be judged based on one performance.

In defending Spears, the Umbrella girl said: "You can't judge her performance without knowing what was going on with her personally. She had so much pressure for that one performance. I'm telling you, it's not easy being on that stage. I performed for a minute and a half, and I was extremely nervous. To have the amount of pressure that Britney had? I don't know what I would've done. She did her best, so leave her alone."
